Fr. Józef Dudzik Pastor
Living the Catholic Faith is serious business. Our lord commanded His Catholic Church to "make disciples" (Matthew 28:18 ff.). As part of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Buffalo, we aim to do our part:
* Our Religious Education Program is geared to instruct our young people in what to believe, how to live the Commandments of God, how to receive the holy Sacraments and how to pray. We offer on-going spiritual formation for our adult members.
* The Catholic Faith as it is found in the Scriptures, Divine Tradition of the Church and its Magisterium are preached and taught in its beauty and completeness.
* Since the Lord Jesus exercises His Lordship and continues His work as our Redeemer through the holy Scaraments, each Sacrament is celebrated here in strict accord with the Roman Ritual.
* Because human warmth and contact are essential to spiritual growth, we offer many opportunities for fellowship.
* Because Our Lord demands deeds of mercy, we assist others in their need through our parish Food Pantry and any other help we can give.
* At St. Josaphat's, top prioity is given to those who are truly serious about practicing the Catholic Faith. The Mass and homily take as long as necessary to give God what is owed to Him in worship, and to feed souls hungering for God and attaining growth in our Catholic Faith.
